Cocoa Beach sits directly on the Atlantic, and that address comes with a maintenance reality inland pools never face. Salt aerosol carries several blocks in from the surf, settling on water surfaces, deck furniture, and — most expensively — on pump housings, heater cabinets, and ladder anchors. Equipment here simply does not last as long unless somebody is watching it.

Blown sand is the second constant. A single windy week drops enough fine sand into a beachside pool to load a filter and abrade the pump seal. We adjust our service around it, backwashing more aggressively and checking baskets more often than a Viera or Suntree route would ever require.
